Ultragrade 2017 UK Beatbox Championships Tag Team Semi Finalists
Upon meeting at the 2017 World Beatbox Camp in Krakow Me and Bass Ventura both being from the North-West of England teamed up to form the Tag-Team Ultragrade. We ended up winning a couple of battles and eventually came up against World Champion Alem and GBBB Champion Kenny Urban. This was one of my funnest moments at the camp for me as I got to share the stage with two absolute legends and even featured on the legendary beatbox channel Swiss Beatbox.
Once home we had a taste for more and entered the 2017 UK Beatbox Championships. After being selected into the top 8 of teams that entered, we spent the remaining 2 months practising week in week out before the battles. We ended up absolutely smashing our elimination round placing us within the Top 4 Tag teams in the UK. It was during the Semi Finals that we were knocked out against Kotcha the reigning champions.
Alas, Ultragrade will be back stronger than ever to battle in the future hoping one day to take that UK Championships Crown!
